Theatre Under The Stars is excited to announce its cast for Mamma Mia!<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Over 60 million people around the globe have fallen in love with the story and the music that makes Mamma Mia!<\/em><\/strong> the ultimate feel-good musical. TUTS Artistic Director, Dan Knechtges, who directs this spectacular new production of Mamma Mia!<\/em><\/strong>, guarantees Houston audiences with have a fabulous time!<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re kicking off the second half of our 50th Anniversary Season with a party!\u201d, said Knechtges. \u201cI\u2019m so excited about the caliber of talent in this cast, and I cannot wait to share this show with Houston audiences.\u201d<\/p>\n

Leading off the cast as \u201cDonna\u201d is Sally Wilfert<\/strong>. She is joined by Felicia Finley<\/strong> as \u201cTanya,\u201d Carla Woods<\/strong> as \u201cRosie,\u201d Matthew Scott<\/strong> as \u201cSam Carmichael,\u201d Mark Price<\/strong> as \u201cHarry Bright,\u201d Steven Bogard<\/strong> as \u201cBill Austin,\u201d Berklea Going<\/strong> as \u201cSophie\u201d and Karl Josef Co<\/strong> as \u201cSky.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rounding out the company, Zachary Daniel Jones<\/strong>, Graham Keen<\/strong>, Jacob Major<\/strong>, Blair Medina<\/strong>, Gabi Stapula<\/strong>, Yasmyn Sumiyoshi<\/strong>, Emily Tanner<\/strong>, Christopher Tipps<\/strong>, Raven Justine Troup<\/strong>, and Phil Young<\/strong>. The production also features an ensemble of students from TUTS Humphreys School of Musical Theatre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Joining Knechtges are Choreographer, Jessica Hartman<\/strong> (TUTS Memphis<\/em>); Music Director, Stephen W. Sally Wilfert (Donna) has appeared on Broadway in Assassins<\/em><\/strong>, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer<\/em><\/strong>, & Ki<\/strong>ng David<\/em><\/strong>; the National Tour of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee<\/em><\/strong>; Off Broadway in See Rock City<\/em><\/strong>, When We Met<\/em><\/strong>, Make a Song<\/em><\/strong>, amongst many others.<\/p>\n

Felicia Finley (Tanya) last appeared on the TUTS stage in the 2016 production of How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying<\/em><\/strong>. Broadway credits include Mamma Mia!<\/em>, The Wedding Singer<\/em><\/strong>, AIDA<\/em><\/strong>, The Life<\/em><\/strong> and Smokey Joe\u2019s Caf\u00e9<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Carla Woods (Rosie) was most recently seen as Mrs Potts in TUTS\u2019 production of Disney\u2019s Beauty and the Beast<\/em><\/strong>. Other credits include the first National Tours of Sister Act<\/em> <\/strong>and All Shook Up<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Matthew Scott (Sam Carmichael) has appeared on Broadway in productions such as An American in Paris<\/em><\/strong>, Sondheim on Sondheim<\/em><\/strong>, Jersey Boys<\/em><\/strong>, and A Catered Affair<\/em><\/strong>. Regionally, he has performed in productions at La Jolla Playhouse<\/a>, the Kennedy Center, The MUNY, Goodspeed Opera House<\/a>, Paper Mill Playhouse<\/a> and Pittsburgh CLO<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Houston native Mark Price (Harry Bright) has appeared on Broadway in Disney\u2019s Mary Poppins<\/em><\/strong>, All Shook Up<\/em><\/strong>, Mamma Mia!<\/em><\/strong>, Wonderful Town<\/em><\/strong>, Dance of the Vampires<\/em><\/strong>, The Rocky Horror Show<\/em><\/strong>, You\u2019re a Good Man Charlie Brow<\/strong>n<\/em>, Chicago<\/em><\/strong>, and Paul Simon\u2019s The Capeman<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Steven Bogard (Bill Austin) has toured the country with the National Tours of Jekyll and Hyde<\/em><\/strong>, Guys and Dolls<\/em><\/strong>, and Grease<\/em><\/strong>, das Musical<\/em><\/strong>. He has worked at regional theaters including Papermill Playhouse, Main State Music Theatre, The 5th Avenue, and Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire.<\/p>\n

Berklea Going (Sophie) has appeared in the National Tour of Irving Berlin\u2019s White Christmas<\/em><\/strong>, Kathy Seldon in Singin\u2019 in the Rain<\/em> <\/strong>at the MUNY, Holiday Inn<\/em> at Paper Mill Playhouse, and Lana Turner in Chasing Rainbows<\/em> <\/strong>at the Goodspeed Opera House.<\/p>\n

Karl Josef Co (Sky) was most recently seen in Pacific Overtures<\/em><\/strong> (Classic Stage Company), Into the Woods<\/em><\/strong> and American Morning<\/em> <\/strong>(Prospect Theater Company), The Unsinkable Molly Brown<\/em><\/strong> (The Muny, Denver Center Theater), and Berlin to Broadway<\/em><\/strong> (York Theatre).<\/p>\n

ABBA\u2019s greatest hits are woven into this dancing-in-the-aisles musical about a mother, a daughter, three possible dads \u2013 and a trip down the aisle you\u2019ll never forget. A celebration of love, laughter, family and friendship, Mamma Mia!<\/em><\/strong> runs February 19 through March 3<\/strong> at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts.
