Theatre Under The Stars announces the creation of Public Works Houston<\/strong>, a new community engagement program that seeks to engage the people of Houston by making them creators and not just spectators.<\/p>\n Through Public Works Houston, TUTS will provide tailored programming for five community partners \u2013 Dress for Success Houston<\/strong>, Wesley Community Center<\/strong>, New Hope Housing Reed<\/strong>, and YMCA of Greater Houston<\/strong>. In the spring, participants in the program will have the opportunity to participate in the professional Miller Outdoor Theatre production.<\/p>\n \u201cThrough Public Works Houston, we are engaging our top teaching artists to collaborate with diverse communities across Houston,\u201d said Hillary Hart<\/strong>, Executive Director of Theatre Under The Stars. \u201cThese professional artists and the people they\u2019re working alongside will have the opportunity to learn from one another.
